Daypro is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug used torelieve the inflammation, swelling, stiffness, and joint painassociated with rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis (themost common kind of arthritis).
- Common Side Effects -
Constipation,diarrhea,indigestion,nausea,rash
- Possible Interactions -
Aspirin
Beta-blocking blood pressure medications such as Inderal and Tenormin
Blood thinners such as Coumadin
Digitalis and digoxin (Lanoxin)
Diuretics such as Lasix and Midamor
Lithium (Lithonate)
Ulcer drugs such as Tagamet and Zantac
Avoid alcoholic beverages while taking Daypro.
