Erythromycin is an antibiotic used to treat many kinds of infections, including:

Erythromycin is also prescribed to prevent rheumatic feverin people who are allergic to penicillin and sulfa drugs.It is prescribed before colorectal surgery to prevent infection.

Disopyramide (Norpace)
Ergotamine (Cafergot)
Hexobarbital
