- Description -
Loprox cream and lotion are prescribed for the treatment of thefollowing fungal skin infections:
Athlete's footFungal infection of the groin (jock itch)Fungal infection of non-hairy parts of the skinCandidiasis (yeastlike fungal infection of the skin)Tinea versicolor--infection of the skin that is characterized by brown or tan patches on the trunk.
Loprox gel is used for athlete's foot, fungal infections of the non-hairyparts of the skin, and certain scalp inflammations (seborrheic dermatitis of thescalp).
