- Description - |
Phospholine Iodide is used to treat chronic open-angleglaucoma,a partial loss of vision or blindness resulting from a gradualincrease inpressure of fluid in the eye. Phospholine Iodide is also used to treat secondary glaucoma(such as glaucoma followingsurgery to remove cataracts), for subacute or chronic angle-closureglaucomaafter iridectomy (surgical removal of a portion of the iris) orwhen someonecannot have surgery or refuses it. The drug is also prescribed forchildrenwith accommodative esotropia ("cross-eye"). |
