- Description - |
Prandin is used to reduce blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes (the kindthatdoes not require insulin shots). It's prescribed when diet and exercise alone fail tocorrectthe problem. A combination of Prandin and a second diabetes drug called Glucophage canbe prescribed if either drug alone proves insufficient.
