Tussionex Extended-Release Suspension is a cough-suppressant/antihistaminecombination used to relieve coughs and the upper respiratory symptoms ofcolds and allergies. Hydrocodone, a mild narcotic similar to codeine, isbelieved to work directly on the cough center. Chlorpheniramine, anantihistamine, reduces itching and swelling and dries up secretions from theeyes, nose, and throat. |
